Day After...

No fever on the day after Christmas and MK was back to her playful self. She couldn't decide what to play with first!

Christmas Day

Later Christmas afternoon we went to my parents to see my Grandpa and his wife Eileen. We celebrated with everyone for awhile but headed home early as MK was still feeling under the weather. Remember how I mentioned MK's favorite Christmas toy was her Pachyderm. Between Boma, Papa, Uncle Brent, Aunt Kelli, Aunt Kathi and Uncle Mike, MK received many more "favorite" Christmas toys.
With five kids in the family now, Christmas at the Sholl's is a sight! Griffin, Jake, Jack, Nick and MK. They all had a great Christmas!

Christmas morning

Oh what fun we had! Unfortunately MK woke up on Christmas morning with her first ever fever. She has sicky eyes in a lot of these pictures - but it didn't stop her from having lots of fun. Santa brought MK a rocking pachyderm, his name is Pascal. He made MK very happy...foreshadowing.

Christmas Eve

Mary Katherine missed her afternoon nap in order to stay awake for the childrens Christmas Eve service. She was very excited throughout church...maybe a little too excited at times. The picture attached is of her right after church. We didn't even have her completely buckled into the car seat before she was sound asleep.

We had a very nice night celebrating with Justin's family. Mary Katherine met her cousin Katelin for the first time. They were fast friends!!

The picture of MK by the Christmas tree is at our house. She looked so pretty in her white dress and red sweater!!

Quick trip to Florida

Sorry for the delay everyone! I had an issue getting my holiday pictures downloaded.

We have had two great weeks of Christmas fun. I will start with a few fun pictures of a quick trip we took to Florida to visit Justin's grandparents. We had such a nice time catching up and playing cards. As you will see from the pictures Mary Katherine is such a big girl these days! She played piano, explored Grams and Gramps' house, and even played cards!

We also took her to see Santa for the first time while we were in Florida. Unfortunately we can't get the picture of them on the blog - but she loved Santa!! She didn't want to get off of his lap. I guess she had a lengthy Christmas list!

Oh Christmas Tree

We put our Christmas tree up this week and Mary Katherine thinks it is the coolest thing ever. A tree with lights in the middle of our house!! Here are a few pictures of her examining the tree yesterday.

She is changing so much these days. Tooth number two broke through this week. She has mastered "Hi' with a very big wave to go along with it. We are working hard on high-five; sometimes she plays along, other times she looks at us like we are crazy. She loves music right now, especially anything remotely close to opera. She sings along beautifully:) She is crawling EVERYWHERE, and loves to pull herself up on furniture. Boma gave MK a walker that she originally bought for Griffin 10 years ago; Mary Katherine truelly belives she is "running", not "walking" all over our downstairs.
