Home From Vacation

We're back home after a fantastic trip to St. Simons Island. MK loves the beach!! We had quite the daily routine; beach, pool, lunch, nap, pool, bath, dinner and then lots of sleep so we were ready to go the next day! The beach was empty, we felt like the only people there many days. On Tuesday we took a break from the beach and took a short drive to Savannah. We had a great walk seeing the sites and we enjoyed a fantastic lunch.

MK is really growing up. She is starting to use many more words which is such a treat! I love to hear her little voice. One morning she walked into the kitchen pointed to her mouth and then clearly said banana. Her new favorite thing to say is "Mommy, here" or "Daddy, here". She is great at sharing, especially with her favorite stuffed panda bear. Panda is very much a member of our family. She looks out for him to make sure he gets part of what she eats or drinks, has plenty of sunscreen on and gets equal goodnight kisses from mommy and daddy. She loves, loves, loves Panda.

We are off again next week on our next adventure. We leave for MI next Friday to visit my Uncle Jim and Aunt Gail. Boma and Papa are going with us too. We will spend time with them in Battle Creek and while we are there we are taking MK to her first college football game, Notre Dame vs. Georgia Tech. I promise more pictures from that trip! The girl will be sporting her GT cheerleader uniform:)

Pictures from the Lake

A few weeks ago we went to Lake Oconee to visit our friends, the Green's. This was MK's first trip on a boat. She loved everything except the life jacket. Her favorite part, other than playing with the kids, was swimming in the lake with her daddy.

We are heading to St. Simons for a week so I promise many new pictures when we return.
