Climbing

Add accomplished climber to Mary Katherine's bio! I can't turn my head for a minute because she will find something new to climb on or in. Here are a few pictures from the last three days. She is always extremely proud of her achievement; and I am likewise a nervous wreck!

Pretty Girl

We had MK's One Year Picture taken at our house today. Here are few shots my neighbor Heather and I took after the photographer left. Mary Katherine was such a perfect little subject! You can see Birdie (Heather and Brian's dog) in the background on one of the pictures. MK loves Birdie!!!

Buddies

MK and Brody had the first of many more playdates to come. It's hard to believe that Brody is 4+ months younger than MK; they play together so great! MK gives kisses, Brody laughs with delight, they were two happy kiddo's!

No, Amanda and I did not dress them alike on purpose!! It was just a good day for blue jeans and a brown shirt.

Birthday Girl

Mary Katherine turned 1 yesterday. Justin and I can't believe how quickly the year has flown by. Mary Katherine was the bell of her ball yesterday. We had a great party with family. She opened lots of presents, played with her cousins and she devoured her cake! She slept so well last night!!!

We are days away from her walking. She can take up to 5 steps on her own now...but she would much rather hold onto us. She is still very petite. Someone asked me yesterday if she was about 5 months old... We go to the doctor this Wednesday for her 1 year check-up, and we're anxious to see how tall she is and what she weighs.
