New Trick

Somebody learned a new trick last night and now she can't stop doing it!! MK pulled herself up to a standing position in her crib. Justin and I were both there to witness it for the first time and needless to say I don't know who was the most proud. She was grinning ear-to-ear due to her accomplishment and Justin and I were speechless!

Today all she wants to do is pull herself up. I have attached a picture from last night and several pictures from today. Notice the change in outfits today...Notre Dame for College Gameday and Georgia Tech game.

First Thanksgiving

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving Day! I've attached a few fun pictures from the day at Boma and Papa's. MK woke up bright and early to help Papa get the big bird in the oven this morning. They played and played and then relaxed on the sofa a bit to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade.

MK is a champion eater these days. Today she had turkey and sweet potato as well as trying mashed potato and green beans. She also tried a little bran muffin this morning. She is a great eater!

Going to the Beach

We had a fantastic trip to St. Simons Island a few weeks ago. Mary Katherine experienced many firsts on our recent trip. First time to the beach, it took her a while to like the sand. First time eating pancakes! We are working on introducing table food when possible and she enjoyed a few bites of pancake at Dresdners. First time on a bicycle. This she didn't like so much. She cried the entire time. We took the helmut off for this picture - you can tell she's not happy. First time watching a sunrise. It was beautiful and you will see her boma was there to share it.

Seven months is BIG!!!

Big things are happening in November! Mary Katherine can officially get anywhere she wants to go by crawling. Justin came home last Saturday from a four day trip and Mary Katherine decided it was time to crawl on that very day. She is extremely pleased with her new skill!

The other big news is her new tooth. Yes, she cut her first tooth this weekend. She was such a trooper! Her bottom right tooth officially emerged today. You'll see in the photo that she was happy to have a cookie to rub on her swollen gums.

We are heading to St. Simons this Wednesday. Mary Katherine will see the ocean for the very first time! I promise there will be many pictures to share next week!

Halloween

Here are a few pictures from Mary Katherine's first Halloween. There was no candy this year...but there were lots of smiles for our little caterpillar. She is quickly becoming a butterfly!!
