Sorry for the delay!!

I am so sorry for the delay! I had some login problems this week. So much has changed since my last post! MK is eating two meals of solid food a day now and loves everything we have given her; applesauce, green beans, sweet potatoes, pears, carrots, sweet peas, bananas, rice cereal and oatmeal. She is a great eater. MK loves her high chair too. I have attached a picture from this morning - I was putting away groceries and then was going to feed her - when I turned around she was asleep!

Mary Katherine was baptized last weekend and she was a perfect little baby. She was wide awake for the service and then fell sound asllep for the rest of mass. You will see from the one picture we took in the church that she was out! We had a nice brunch at the house following the baptism.

MK is trying so hard to sit up. She is a very determined baby, so I am certain it won't be long until she is sitting up on her own. You will see in one of the attached pictures that she is close.

All in all, we have one happy baby. She is always in such a good mood; laughing, smiling and talking to us non-stop. Justin is convinced she is a Braves fan. She squealls with delight every night when we turn the game on. Too bad her first Major League game is going to be a Red Soxs game in two weeks. We may have a Boston fan on our hands...first game, first love! We are headed to Boston for our first family trip on September 8th. I promise there will be many pictures.

Eating From a Spoon

Mary Katherine wasn't too sure about the spoon on night one of rice cereal. She is getting better each night with swallowing. Last night she had the pro's Boma and Papa feeding her. Here are a couple new pictures from the weekend. She loves her 360!!

4 Months Old

Wow...one week can change everything for a 4 month old! Mary Katherine rolled over for the first time on Tuesday July 25th. She is so fond of her new trick - it has opened up a whole new world for her. She is a strong (and determined) little girl. I have included a few recent pictures. Justin was standing close by for the shot in her crib - she loves to stand up right now! She had her 4 month appointment today and she now weighs in at 12 lbs. and is 22 1/2 ins. tall (we think she's taller though, the nurse was quick today and MK had a little accident). She is still small for her age they say, but she is proportionate and growing on schedule! We start rice cereal tonight...she growing up so quickly.
